Lisa Iwamoto new Architecture Chair at UC Berkeley’s CED

Lisa Iwamoto has been appointed as the new Chair of the Department of Architecture in the College of Environmental Design (CED)
Professor Renee Y. Chow, Dean of the Berkeley’s CED said: “I am pleased to appoint Lisa Iwamoto as the next chair of the department. She has dedicated her career to balancing practice with academia and enters the position with a well-rounded approach to architectural education that can meet the contemporary environmental challenges and opportunities we face”.
Lisa Iwamoto is the founding partner of the awarded firm IwamotoScott Architecture, with offices in San Francisco, in partnership with Craig Scott. She studied Structural Engineering at The University of Colorado and obtained a M.Arch from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
