QS releases the 2022 Ranking of Best Universities for Architecture

The 2022 edition of the QS World University Ranking has been released. The Quacquarelli Symonds Ranking is perhaps the most significant ranking of Universities around the world. In 2022 their ranking by subject evaluated a total of 51 disciplines, grouped into five broad subject areas: Arts & Humanities, Engineering & Technology, Life Sciences & Medicine, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences & Management. The discipline of Architecture is part of the field of Arts & Humanities.
The evaluation of the QS Ranking’s methodology includes indicators such as Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Research Citations per paper, H-index and International Research Network. Detailed information about the QS methodology can be found here.
In 2022, the podium of the subject «Architecture & Built Environment» is dominated by some of the most relevant universities for architecture around the world. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) preserves the first place as the previous edition, followed by TU Delft, and UCL of London in the third position, while ETH of Zurich is fourth. Harvard GSD closes the top 5 best universities for studying architecture.
