RCR Arquitectes is a Catalan-based architectural workshop, founded in Olot in 1987 by Rafael Aranda, Carme Pigem and Ramon Vilalta. The agency has won several awards including the Gold Medal from the French Academy of Architecture in 2015 and the highly prestigious Pritzker prize in 2017. It has opened an architectural laboratory to develop research and creative transversality. A foundation was also created to boost the social promotion of architecture, landscape and arts & culture in general.
