Mario Cucinella: Designing Sustainability within the next generation

This is the keynote lecture following the M.Arch Jury for the Sustainable Environmental Design Postgraduate Programme

 

An investigation, through a collection of the most recent projects and the most representative architectures of MC A, on the possible answers that architecture can provide towards the global challenges of the present and near future. The invite is to reflect together with the next generation of designers on the future of architecture by taking a journey through the history of humanity to find the meaning of a different, more holistic form of beauty, one that integrates environmental and social responsibility, sensitive to the spirit of people and places

 

Mario Cucinella is an Architect, Designer and Educator, founder of MCA – Mario Cucinella Architects, an international design studio focused on research-based architectural design linked to environmental issues and of SOS – School of Sustainability, a post-graduate training centre aimed at training professionals in the field of sustainability.
