This is reflected in our appraisals by professional bodies like the Architects’ Registration Board (ARB), Royal Institute for British Architects (RIBA) and The Landscape Institute, alongside the number and variety of prizes gained externally.
We are a unique collaboration between Manchester Metropolitan University and The University of Manchester, uniting two schools with more than 100 years’ experience, over 100 experts in their architectural fields and more than 1000 students from over 80 countries in the heart of Manchester.

We are located half a mile from Manchester city centre, and are connected to academic and professional practice in Manchester, the North West and internationally, providing opportunities for collaboration.
